About the Role

Our client, a prominent retailer known for its diverse product range, is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Inventory Control & Stockroom Manager to oversee operations in Upington, Northern Cape. This role is vital for maintaining accurate inventory records, optimizing stockroom organization, and ensuring efficient stock movement to support sales operations. You will be responsible for implementing robust inventory management systems and processes to minimize discrepancies and reduce shrinkage. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, a meticulous approach to detail, and experience managing stockroom operations in a retail setting in Upington. This position is key to ensuring product availability and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the accuracy of inventory records using the company's inventory management system.
• Oversee the organization, cleanliness, and efficiency of the stockroom and receiving areas.
• Implement and enforce stock control procedures, including cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly and accurately.
