About the Role

Our client, a key supplier to the agricultural and mining sectors, is seeking a meticulous Warehouse Inventory Controller to support their operations in Upington, Northern Cape, with the option for remote management of data and reporting. This vital role ensures the accuracy and integrity of inventory records, plays a crucial part in stock management, and supports efficient warehouse operations. Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records within the warehouse management system (WMS).
• Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly and efficiently.
• Monitor stock levels and report on inventory status to management.
• Assist in receiving and dispatch processes, ensuring accuracy of incoming and outgoing stock.
• Implement and enforce inventory control procedures to minimize loss and obsolescence.
• Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
• Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory within the warehouse.
• Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to manage stock flow.
• Utilize remote access tools for data analysis and reporting related to Upington operations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a similar role.
• Proven experience with inventory management systems (WMS) and ERP software.
