Qualifications

• Proven experience in inventory control or stock management in retail (min 3 years).
• Strong understanding of stocktaking procedures and stockroom organization.
• Proficiency with inventory software and POS systems.
• Analytical and detail-oriented with problem-solving skills.
• Good organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to lead and motivate a small team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accuracy of inventory records using the company system.
• Organize and maintain the stockroom and receiving areas.
• Execute cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
• Coordinate with purchasing and sales to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
• Train and supervise stockroom staff and ensure efficient workflow.
• Protect stock from loss, damage or theft and ensure proper handling.
• Analyze inventory data and generate reports on stock levels and movement.
