Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Inventory Control Manager for Upington, Northern Cape. The role oversees all inventory activities from receipt to dispatch, ensuring accuracy and minimizing stock discrepancies while driving cost savings.

You will implement robust inventory controls, manage the team, and collaborate with procurement, sales, and logistics to ensure product availability and optimal stock levels. FMCG experience is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 4-5 years' experience in inventory control or warehouse management in FMCG.
• Experience with WMS and inventory management software is essential.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily inventory control operations including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Ensure inventory records accuracy via cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Develop and enforce inventory control procedures and policies.
• Forecast future needs to optimize stock and reduce costs.
• Lead, train, and motivate the inventory control team.
