Job summary

Botes Land Surveyors is a Pretoria East based team of Professional Land & Engineering Surveyors, delivering high-precision construction and civil surveys. The role focuses on setting out, as-built surveys, topography, cadastral work and GNSS/total station workflows, with opportunities to travel to the northern provinces.

The ideal candidate holds a National Diploma in Surveying with at least four years of relevant experience (two years post-WIL) and demonstrates accuracy, independence,

Qualifications

• National Diploma in Surveying is required.
• Minimum 4 years’ construction/engineering surveying experience (2 years post-WIL).
• Proven experience in setting out and as-builts.
• Competent with GNSS and total station workflows.
• Proficiency in ModelMaker.
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills: you must be willing to ask questions and clarify the brief when needed.
• Strong numerical ability and basic mental arithmetic: you must be able to sanity-check measurements and calculations without relying on a calculator.
• Valid driver’s license with a minimum of 3 years’ driving experience.
