Qualifications

• Admitted attorney specializing in Intellectual Property Law.
• Minimum 7 years of IP prosecution, transactions, and/or litigation.
• Strong technical background in a relevant science/engineering field advantageous.
• In-depth knowledge of patent, trademark, and copyright law in key jurisdictions.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to thrive in an independent, remote work setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage and prosecute patent, trademark, and copyright applications globally.
• Conduct IP due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships.
• Draft and negotiate IP-related agreements, such as licenses, assignments, and R&D collaborations.
• Advise on IP strategy, portfolio management, and competitive landscape analysis.
• Represent the company in IP litigation, opposition proceedings, and dispute resolution matters.
• Monitor for and address potential IP infringements.
