Qualifications

• National Diploma or N6 certificate in Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as an Instrumentation Technician in an industrial setting, preferably within the energy industry.
• Strong knowledge of process control loops, pneumatic and electronic instrumentation, and PLC systems.
• Proficiency in using calibration equipment and diagnostic tools.
• Ability to read and understand P&IDs, electrical schematics, and technical documentation.
• Good communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, maintain, and repair a wide range of industrial instrumentation, including sensors, transmitters, and control valves.
• Troubleshoot instrumentation issues using diagnostic tools and procedures to identify root causes.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks according to established schedules and procedures.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and specifications for instrumentation systems.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
