You will work with sensors, transmitters, control valves, PLCs, DCS, and SCADA systems, interpreting P&IDs and diagrams while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifikationen

• Qualified Artisan (Instrumentation/Control) or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years in industrial instrumentation and control.
• Experience with PLCs, DCS, and industrial networks.
• Strong troubleshooting and ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with safety procedures in industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, and maintain a wide range of industrial instruments, including sensors, transmitters, and control valves.
• Troubleshoot and repair faulty instrumentation and control systems, ensuring minimal process disruption.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all I&C equipment according to schedules and procedures.
• Work with PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems, including configuration and basic programming.
• Interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, and control loop diagrams.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards related to instrumentation and control.

Requirements

• Qualified Artisan (Instrumentation/Control) or equivalent technical qualification (e.g., NQF Level 4).
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in an industrial instrumentation and control role, preferably within the energy sector .
• Proficiency in calibrating and maintaining various types of instrumentation.
