The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Education with Foundation Phase specialization and is registered with SACE, bringing at least 3 years of classroom experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education (Foundation Phase) required.
• Registration with SACE required.
• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in Foundational Phase.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons for Foundational Phase learners (Grades R-3).
• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum activities focusing on literacy, numeracy, and life skills.
• Assess student progress through observations, classwork, and formal assessments.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom atmosphere.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting respect and positive interaction.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and well-being.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and school staff on curriculum development and school initiatives.
• Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities.
• Utilize a variety of teaching resources and technologies to enhance learning.
