Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Project Manager focusing on Infrastructure Development to join their team in Port Elizabeth. This hybrid role blends on-site coordination with remote work to drive planning, execution and successful delivery of critical infrastructure projects.

You will oversee design, procurement, construction and commissioning, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and report milestones and financial performance to senior management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management with infrastructure focus.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing complex infrastructure projects from initiation to completion.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute detailed project plans for infrastructure development, including scope, budgets, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Coordinate and manage all project activities, including design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
• Oversee site operations, ensuring adherence to safety regulations, environmental policies, and quality standards.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders, external consultants, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure project success.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of project status, financial performance, and milestones to senior management.
