Job summary

Placements24 in the North West region seeks a proactive Project Manager, Infrastructure to oversee major infrastructure initiatives in Klerksdorp, coordinating planning, design, procurement and construction to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires at least 5 years in infrastructure project management, a civil engineering or construction management degree, and strong leadership and communication skills. Hybrid work and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of infrastructure project management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Experience managing roads, utilities or public works projects.
• Proficient with MS Project and AutoCAD.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with the Klerksdorp local authority is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end management of infrastructure projects across planning, design, procurement, and construction.
• Develop and manage project budgets with cost control and reporting.
• Create and maintain detailed project schedules and adjust as needed.
• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to meet objectives.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, codes, and safety regulations.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
