Placements24 is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Project Manager to direct major infrastructure developments in the Klerksdorp area, overseeing planning, design, procurement and construction.

You will coordinate with engineering teams, contractors and authorities to ensure delivery, compliance and safety, while guiding project teams and managing risks.

Qualifications

• Over 8 years of infrastructure project management experience in large-scale capital projects.
• Experience with civil engineering, utilities or transportation projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science or related field; Master's preferred; Pr Eng or PMP valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end management of major infrastructure projects, including planning, design, procurement, and construction.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk management strategies.
• Oversee the selection and management of contractors and consultants, ensuring performance and compliance.
• Liaise with government agencies, community stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure project alignment and approvals.
• Monitor project execution, ensuring adherence to technical specifications, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
• Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to project teams, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
