Job description

We have a red hot opportunity for an IT Technician to join our team at Super Group.

Super Group is a listed company with a global footprint in the supply chain & logistics, vehicle dealerships and mobility industries. Our software developers work on an awesome and progressive technology stack creating powerful software solutions for a number of Super Group companies.

We need an IT Technician to ensure that all hardware and software components are installed, maintained and repaired as needed. The IT Technician works closely with all technology teams to provide support and aims to build and maintain updated and efficient computer systems and networks to ensure high levels of business sustainability.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing technical assistance to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and resolving technical problems within a reasonable time frame.
  • Install and configure hardware and software for new and existing users.
  • Ensuring smooth operation of hardware, software and networking systems, including performing regular system updates and maintenance.
  • Monitor / Understand and maintain network infrastructure, including Wi-Fi , routers, switches, and printers.

ABOUT THE CANDIDATE

Our ideal candidate will have qualifications and experience in the following fields:

Qualifications:

Demonstrated work experience in an IT environment is a must, a Degree or Diploma in Information Technology or related fields would be an advantage.

Experience:

  • A minimum of three (3) years’ experience .
  • Knowledge about latest information technologies, hardware, software and networks.
  • Troubleshooting and support of all desktops, printer, and network infrastructure.
  • Supporting desktop applications like Win10 /Win 11 and MS Office / 365
  • General knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Skills / attributes:

  • High level of computer literacy.
  • Effective Internet/online research skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills. .
  • Great troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail.
