Placements24 is seeking an Information Security Architect with a cloud focus to design, implement and manage secure cloud environments for IT/OT assets. The role offers remote work from SA, with a strong emphasis on cloud security across AWS, Azure and GCP, and ICS/SCADA protection.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in information security, 4+ in cloud security, and relevant certifications. You will shape the cybersecurity strategy and collaborate with cross-functional teams globally.

Formación

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 7+ years of information security experience with at least 4 years in cloud security architecture.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud security best practices on AWS, Azure and/or GCP.
• Experience with ICS/SCADA security is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of IAM, encryption, network security and threat modeling.
• Familiarity with NIST, ISO27001 and cloud-specific frameworks.
• Certifications like CISSP, CCSP, AWS/Azure Security preferred.

About the Role

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in information security, with at least 4 years focused on cloud security architecture.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud security best practices and services on AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
• Experience with security for industrial control systems (ICS/SCADA) is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of network security, identity and access management, data encryption, and threat modeling.
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and cloud-specific frameworks.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Relevant certifications like AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate, CISSP, or CCSP are highly preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
• Strategic thinking and ability to translate business needs into secure technical solutions.
