• Master's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/InfoSec.
• 10+ years in information security; minimum 5 years in security architecture.
• Proven design of secure cloud solutions (AWS/Azure/GCP) and hybrid environments.
• Strong knowledge of network security, data protection, IAM, cryptography, and application security.
• Experience with security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001) and compliance.

About the Role

Our client is seeking an innovative and experienced Information Security Architect to lead the design and implementation of cutting-edge security solutions. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute from anywhere. You will be instrumental in defining the organization's security roadmap, ensuring our digital infrastructure is resilient against evolving threats. This role requires a strategic thinker who can translate complex security requirements into actionable architectural blueprints, working collaboratively with engineering, IT, and business stakeholders to embed security by design into all initiatives. You will champion security best practices and drive technological advancements across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain the enterprise information security architecture , ensuring it aligns with business objectives and risk appetite.
• Evaluate and recommend new security technologies and solutions to enhance the organization's defense capabilities, focusing on cloud environments and zero-trust principles.
• Develop and enforce security standards, guidelines, and patterns for application development, infrastructure, and cloud deployments.
• Lead threat modeling exercises and security reviews for new projects and systems to identify and mitigate risks proactively.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security requirements are integrated into the full system lifecycle.
• Stay abreast of the latest security threats, trends, and technologies, and translate this knowledge into architectural improvements.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in information security, with at least 5 years focused on security architecture .
• Proven experience designing secure solutions for cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid environments.
• Deep understanding of network security, data protection, identity and access management (IAM), cryptography, and application security.
• Experience with security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001) and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
