Placements24 is seeking a Senior Security Architect for a fully remote role in the industrial technology field. You will design and implement robust security solutions across on-prem and cloud environments, protecting data and IP from advanced threats.

Lead security architecture, conduct risk assessments, threat modeling, and ensure secure SDLC integration. Collaborate with engineering and IT teams, with occasional collaboration near Nelspruit.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in information security with a focus on security architecture and design.
• Experience designing and implementing security solutions for complex IT environments (on-prem and cloud).
• Strong knowledge of network, application, data security, and IAM.

Responsabilidades

About the Role

You will collaborate with engineering and IT teams to embed security into the design and lifecycle of our products and services. Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop secure architectures for enterprise systems, applications, and cloud environments.

• Develop and implement security policies, standards, and guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in information security, with a significant focus on security architecture and design.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing security solutions for complex IT environments, including on-premises and cloud.
• Deep understanding of network security, application security, data security, and identity and access management (IAM).
• Experience with cloud security best practices and architectures in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proficiency in security risk assessment methodologies and threat modeling techniques.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or cloud security architect certifications are highly desirable.
• Ability to work effectively in a fully remote capacity, with occasional collaboration needs, potentially near Nelspruit.
