Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree or National Diploma in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Labour Law, or a related field.
• A strong interest in Industrial Relations and Labour Law.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and take initiative.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to the vicinity of Paarl, Western Cape.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Industrial Relations Manager with daily IR activities.
• Support the administration of disciplinary hearings and grievance procedures.
• Help in preparing and maintaining IR-related documentation and records.
• Conduct research on relevant labour legislation and case law.
• Assist in facilitating consultations and negotiations with employee representatives where appropriate.
• Provide administrative support for CCMA processes, including documentation and scheduling.
• Contribute to promoting a positive employee relations climate within the workplace.
• Support HR initiatives related to employee engagement and communication.
• Assist with general HR administrative tasks as required.
