Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced HR Generalist with a strong emphasis on Industrial Relations to join our client in George, Western Cape. You will manage grievances, conduct disciplinary hearings, and represent the company in CCMA proceedings while advising on labour law matters.

You will support HR strategies, oversee recruitment and onboarding, and maintain compliant employee records. A SA labour law background and 5+ years IR experience are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in HRM, Industrial Psychology, or Law.
• Minimum 5 years in HR with a strong focus on Industrial Relations.
• Solid knowledge of SA Labour Law incl. LRA, BCEA, EEA.

Responsibilities

• Manage employee grievances and disputes.
• Conduct disciplinary hearings and investigations.
• Represent the company in CCMA conciliation/arbitration.
• Advise on industrial relations and labour law.
• Develop and implement HR policies aligned with legal requirements.
• Support HR Manager with strategies.
• Oversee recruitment and onboarding processes.
• Maintain accurate HR records in George, WC.
