Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Industrial Engineer focused on Quality Assurance in Kimberley, SA. The role centers on creating and refining quality control systems to ensure product excellence and process consistency.

You will analyze defect data, drive CAPA actions, and collaborate with production teams to embed quality into new products and changes, while mentoring staff on best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Quality Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in QA/QC in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001 and SQC techniques.
• Experience with root cause analysis tools (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone) and CAPA processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement robust quality control systems and procedures across production lines.
• Analyze defect data, identify root causes, and implement CAPA actions.
• Conduct regular process audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to integrate quality into new product development and process changes.
• Train and mentor staff on quality standards and best practices.
• Monitor and report on key quality metrics with insights for management.
