Placements24 seeks an experienced Industrial Engineer to lead quality systems management at the Paarl facility. The role focuses on developing and maintaining ISO 9001 compliant QMS, conducting internal audits, and driving CAPAs to enhance product reliability.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in industrial engineering with strong SPC knowledge and auditing skills, and the ability to train staff and collaborate across production and engineering teams to elevate quality throughout operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial engineering with strong focus on quality assurance and quality systems.
• Proven experience developing and implementing ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems.
• Strong knowledge of statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis techniques, and CAPA methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and auditing skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems (QMS) in line with ISO 9001.
• Conduct regular internal audits to assess compliance and identify improvement areas.
• Analyze quality data, identify root causes, and implement CAPAs.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to integrate quality into design and manufacturing.
• Develop and deliver training on quality principles to staff at all levels.
• Monitor quality metrics and report to management with improvement recommendations.
