Placements24 is seeking an proactive Industrial Engineer for our Rustenburg facility to drive process improvement and efficiency. You will analyze data, map processes, and implement sustainable changes on the factory floor in collaboration with production teams.

The role emphasizes on-site execution, Lean/Six Sigma application, and delivering measurable cost savings and quality gains in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years in industrial engineering with a focus on process improvement.
• Experience with lean, Six Sigma, and CI frameworks.
• Strong data analysis and process-mapping skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify optimization and cost-saving opportunities.
• Design and implement improved layouts and production systems.
• Apply lean/Six Sigma tools to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
• Lead projects to enhance product quality and reduce costs.
• Work with production teams to sustain process changes and monitor metrics.
• Report on performance and guide further improvements.
