You will analyze, design, and improve complex processes to boost efficiency, safety and product quality. Ideal candidates will have a hands-on approach, strong analytical skills, and a track record in Lean/Six Sigma and process simulation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial process engineering, preferably in mining/heavy manufacturing.
• Proven experience with process simulation and modeling software.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing processes to identify optimization opportunities and cost reductions.
• Design and implement new process flows and upgrade systems for efficiency and throughput.
• Develop and maintain process documentation (P&IDs, SOPs, control strategies).
• Collaborate with plant operations, maintenance, and quality assurance teams for smooth execution.
• Apply SPC and other analytical tools to monitor process performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues and implement corrective actions.
• Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma).
• Assess feasibility of new technologies and their impact on operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Train staff on new or modified processes.
