Placements24 seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician for an industrial plant in Klerksdorp, NW. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults, and respond to urgent repairs to keep plant equipment running safely.

A trade qualification (Millwright, Electrician, Fitter and Turner) or equivalent experience is required, along with proven industrial maintenance experience and the ability to read manuals, blueprints and schematics with strict

Qualifications

• Trade qualification (e.g., Millwright, Electrician, Fitter and Turner) or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing various types of industrial equipment.
• Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems is essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and lockout/tagout protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment according to schedule.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in a timely manner.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests and ensure minimal downtime.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to facilitate repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities performed.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations during maintenance operations.
