Job summary
Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Specialized Industrial Lubrication Technician to join our maintenance team in Sandton, Gauteng. The role focuses on applying lubricants to a range of industrial machinery to optimize performance and longevity.
You will develop schedules, operate grease guns and automated systems, monitor lubricant quality, and maintain records. The position requires attention to detail, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in industrial lubrication maintenance.
- Knowledge of lubrication charts and manuals.
- CLS preferred or equivalent certification.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lubrication schedules for all machinery.
- Apply lubricants using grease guns, oil cans, and automated systems.
- Monitor lubricant levels and contamination; top up or replace as needed.
- Inspect lubrication points for wear or improper application.
- Maintain lubrication equipment and work areas safely.
- Keep accurate records of lubricants used and equipment serviced.
- Troubleshoot lubrication issues and recommend fixes.
- Ensure safe storage and handling of all lubricants.
- Collaborate with maintenance engineers to address needs.
