Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Specialized Industrial Machinery Maintenance Technician for our Klerksdorp facility to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of CNC machines, automated production lines and robotic systems.

The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems with electrical/electronic controls, and a proven track record of minimizing downtime while keeping safety at the forefront.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in maintenance and repair of complex industrial machinery.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
• Experience with troubleshooting automated production lines and PLCs is advantageous.
• Safe working practices in an industrial environment.
• Residence in Klerksdorp, North West or willingness to relocate; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on diverse industrial machinery.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
• Interpret manuals and schematics to identify faults.
• Inspect equipment and document findings with corrective actions.
• Maintain maintenance logs and spare parts inventory.
• Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime.
• Assist in installation and commissioning of new machinery.
