Placements24 is seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team in Tembisa, Gauteng. This role focuses on expanding our footprint in key industrial sectors and driving sales of high-value equipment.

You will identify opportunities, forge partnerships, and travel regularly to client sites and events. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in B2B sales within industrial machinery, strong negotiation and presentation skills, and a robust network in Gauteng.

Qualifications

7+ years of B2B sales in industrial equipment or heavy machinery.
Proven success in business development and lead generation.
Strong technical aptitude with industrial processes and machinery.
Willingness to travel extensively within Gauteng.
Experience with CRM software and sales tools.

Responsibilities

Identify and pursue new business opportunities across Tembisa, Gauteng and nearby regions.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to grow revenue and market share.
Build and maintain relationships with procurement managers, engineers and directors.
Conduct market analysis to identify trends and competitive landscapes.
Present and demonstrate capabilities of the equipment portfolio.
Negotiate complex sales agreements ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with technical and support teams for pre- and post-sales service.
Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports and performance analyses.
Represent the company at industry events.
