The role requires a strong technical grounding, exceptional networking skills, and a proven track record in achieving sales targets across KwaZulu-Natal.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of business development or sales experience in industrial automation.
• Strong technical aptitude with PLCs, robotics, sensors knowledge.
• Excellent networking, communication and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel within Durban and KwaZulu-Natal as needed.
• Proficiency with CRM software and sales tools.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in Durban and KwaZulu-Natal.
• Develop and implement strategic business development plans to hit sales targets.
• Build and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and influencers.
• Prepare compelling proposals and negotiate contracts with new clients.
• Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to ensure client success.
• Represent the company at industry events and drive revenue growth.
