• Familiarity with basic statistical analysis and data interpretation.
• Strong written and verbal communication and collaborative spirit.
• Based in or able to commute to Bloemfontein, Free State.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in developing and modifying plant layouts and workstation designs.
• Conduct time studies and motion studies to identify efficiency gains.
• Support data collection and analysis for process improvement projects.
• Evaluate material handling systems and suggest improvements for optimal flow.
• Learn and apply CAD software for drafting layouts and equipment specs.
• Participate in site walks and document SOPs related to layout and flow.
• Contribute to team discussions on process enhancement initiatives.
• Gain exposure to lean manufacturing principles in a manufacturing setting.
