Old Mutual is seeking a Broker Consultant to develop, grow and manage a portfolio of independent brokers and advisers within the defined market and geographical area.

The role emphasizes a strong commercial and sales focus, actively identifying new business opportunities, recruiting and activating productive brokers, and increasing penetration of Old Mutual MFC Funeral and Two Mountains products. You will partner with brokers to drive growth and performance.

Responsabilidades

• Take ownership of sales performance and new business growth within the allocated broker portfolio and geographical market.
• Identify, prospect and recruit new independent brokers and broker businesses that can produce Old Mutual MFC Funeral and Two Mountains business.
• Develop a strong pipeline of prospective brokers and convert opportunities into contracted, activated relationships.
• Drive increased production from existing brokers by boosting adviser participation, productivity and product penetration.
• Develop practical growth plans for key brokers with sales targets, activation plans and product opportunities.
• Regularly analyse broker production and identify underperforming or high-potential brokers needing intervention.
• Support brokers in converting market opportunities into sustainable new business and maintain market presence.
• Maintain records of broker engagements, commitments, opportunities and follow-up actions.
