Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Special Needs Education Teacher for an inclusive school in Mahikeng, North West. You will design learning plans, adapt curriculum, and deliver tailored instruction to students with diverse needs.

Collaborate with parents, therapists, and other professionals to support holistic development; monitor progress with IEPs and document outcomes to promote growth and independence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Special Needs Education with SACE registration.
• Experience working with students with diverse learning, emotional, or physical disabilities.
• Proficiency in differentiated instruction and adaptive learning techniques.
• Excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Adapt curriculum materials and teaching methods to meet the unique learning requirements of each student.
• Provide direct instruction and support in academic, social, emotional, and life skills.
• Collaborate with parents, therapists, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed to promote maximum achievement.
