Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a compassionate Special Needs Educator to provide learning support in Mossel Bay's inclusive school setting. You will develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), collaborate with teachers, parents, and specialists to tailor instruction and monitor progress.

Qualifications

• A recognized teaching qualification with a specialization in Special Needs Education or Learning Support.
• Experience with students with diverse learning disabilities.

• Strong understanding of child psychology and learning support methodologies.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and empathetic skills in Western Cape settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Provide direct instructional support and targeted interventions to students in small groups or one-on-one settings.

• Monitor student progress, document interventions, and communicate regularly with parents and school staff.

Requirements
