Job summary

Cashbuild Limited in Mahikeng is seeking a Store Associate to deliver excellent customer service, merchandise stock, and maintain store cleanliness. You will assist customers, ensure shelf labeling accuracy, and follow safety practices to prevent hazards.

Responsibilities include advising customers, resolving queries, maintaining planograms, and contributing to loss prevention while working shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 10 or NQF 3 with 1 year work experience, or Grade 12 without related work experience.
• Ability to communicate in English and the dominant language of the area.
• Valid South African ID or work permit.
• Ability to perform basic calculations accurately.
• Must be willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Must be able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Customer service: advise and assist customers on correct products and queries.
• Merchandising: ensure stock area is neat and stocked per layout; label shelves.
• Housekeeping: keep area clean, ensure safe access, spot-check aisles.
• Safety: comply with OHSA requirements and report hazards.
• Stock loss: report damaged stock to Store Manager.
