Job summary

FirstRand Bank Limited is seeking a Universal Advisor to deliver compliant sales and service solutions in a busy branch. You will engage walk-in customers, identify needs, and guide them to appropriate products while promoting digital channels and self-service options.

The role emphasizes ethical conduct, regulatory compliance, and continuous learning in a dynamic POP branch environment. A Grade 12 or higher with FAIS knowledge is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification: Grade 12 / NQF Level 4.
• Preferred: NQF Level 5 certificate in Banking, Business Administration, Customer Service, or related fields recognized by FAIS.
• 1–3 years of experience in customer-facing environments within financial services.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers in a positive and professional manner.
• Identify customer needs to sell and cross-sell banking solutions.
• Educate customers on digital, e-Channels, and self-service platforms.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining service standards.
• Manage leads, referrals and follow-ups within agreed timelines.
• Ensure compliance with FAIS, FICA, TCF, and internal governance.
• Maintain accurate customer records and uphold ethical standards.
• Stay informed on product offerings and regulatory changes.
