Job summary

FirstRand Bank's Universal Advisor role in a busy branch environment focuses on delivering compliant sales and service solutions to walk-in and existing customers, while guiding them to digital and self-service channels. You will act as a brand ambassador and uphold governance.

The ideal candidate will have Grade 12, 1–3 years of customer-facing experience in financial services, a solid understanding of FAIS/TCF, and strong communication skills to build relationships and achieve targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification is Grade 12 / NQF4.
• Preferred NQF5 Certificate in Banking, Business Admin, or related fields recognized by FAIS.
• 1–3 years of experience in customer-facing environments within financial services.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compliant sales and service solutions to walk-in and existing customers in a high-volume branch environment.
• Promote digital and self-service channels to customers while ensuring ethical interactions.
• Maintain accurate customer records and ensure compliance with FAIS, FICA and TCF governance.
• Identify customer needs and provide appropriate banking and financial solutions.
• Proactively manage leads, referrals, and follow-ups within agreed timelines.
