Job summary

IntelliStaff is seeking an experienced freight forwarding professional to manage import and export shipments from start to finish in Chartwell, Randburg. You will coordinate bookings, collections and deliveries while ensuring accurate shipping docs and SARS/Edi familiarity.

Role requires Afrikaans, 3+ years in freight forwarding or international moving operations, and proficiency with CargoWise or similar systems. Interactions with clients and carriers are a core part of the role.

Qualifications

• Matric / National Senior Certificate is required.
• Minimum 3 years freight forwarding or international moving operations experience.
• Imports and exports experience and Customs/Edi familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Manage import and export shipments end to end.
• Arrange bookings, collections and final deliveries.
• Prepare and check shipping and customs documentation.
• Proactively manage clients, carriers, agents and shipment exceptions.
• Manage accruals, supplier costs, invoicing and file closure.

Requirements

• FCL, LCL, air freight and road freight experience
• End-to-end shipment file ownership and direct client contact
• CargoWise or similar freight-management system experience
• Customs entry framing / SARS EDI experience
• International household moving experience
• Freight, customs or logistics qualification
• Afrikaans proficiency
