A leading recruitment agency in South Africa is looking for a Capacity Development Advisor to oversee capacity development activities within various community-based organizations. Ideal candidates should have a relevant degree, experience with US government-funded projects, and strong facilitation and communication skills. The role involves conducting capacity assessments, supporting partner organizations, and contributing to project documentation. Ability to travel is required, and proficiency in a local language is preferred.
Qualifications
Relevant degree in organizational development, business, or public management.
Experience in US government-funded projects with significant capacity development elements.
Strong facilitation and training skills.
Excellent communication and relationship management capabilities.
Fluency in English and an additional local language is preferred.
Responsibilities
Responsible for daily implementation of capacity development activities.
Conduct site visits for development of partner organizations.
Co-develop Institutional Strengthening Plans for partners and ensure implementation.
Assisting in monitoring and evaluation of capacity development interventions.
Contribute to the development of project reports and documentation.
Skills
Excellent facilitation and training skills
Excellent communication and relationship management skills
Proficiency in capacity development theories and methods
Ability to travel
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
