Job summary

SRG Financial Placements is seeking a logistics support professional to coordinate the IBC and drum recollection programme, ensuring used packaging is collected from customers and returned for servicing. You will liaise weekly with customers, maintain records, and analyse movement data to improve routes and processes.

Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with Pastel or logistics systems are highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree or diploma in Business, Sales, Marketing, Commerce, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years customer service experience in logistics, packaging or related environment.
• Advanced MS Excel skills with strong data analysis and reporting capabilities.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities with customers.
• Experience with Pastel or logistics systems is advantageous; packaging industry knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the IBC and drum recollection programme, ensuring used packaging is collected from customers and returned for servicing
• Liaise with customers on a weekly basis to arrange and schedule collections
• Maintain accurate records and analyse IBC / drum movement data, including dispatched versus collected quantities
• Work closely with the logistics team to improve collection efficiencies and identify opportunities to optimise routes and processes
• Compile and maintain Excel reports and logistics data to monitor collection activity, trends and customer requirements
