Square 1 Recruitment in Middelburg, South Africa, seeks a Branch Administrator / Internal Sales professional to support a hydraulics and technical environment. This role blends internal sales, invoicing, customer service and stock administration to keep the branch running smoothly.

You'll handle enquiries, quotations, invoices, back orders and reporting, work across reception and switchboard when needed, and start as soon as possible.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in internal sales or branch administration.
• Exposure to hydraulics or a similar technical environment preferred.
• A technical background or good understanding of technical products/components.
• Some accounting or invoicing experience.

Responsibilities

• Handle internal sales enquiries, telephonic orders and buy-outs.
• Prepare quotations and generate invoices.
• Process invoices, RMAs and credit notes.
• Manage and follow up on back orders.
• Assist customers with queries and build strong relationships.
• Process cash supplier transactions and assist with petty cash.
• Track workshop jobs and orders.
• Assist with stock takes and stock procedures.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports.
• Monitor outstanding collections and payment queries.
• Support Branch Manager with general administration.
• Maintain filing and job-costing documentation.
• Assist with reception and switchboard duties when required.
