Job summary

Skillnet Recruitment seeks a Junior Technical Sales Representative for the Nelspruit Branch (Mpumalanga). You will drive sales, build customer relationships, and support tender processes in the hydraulic and pneumatic sectors.

The role is based on site with growth opportunities in a dynamic environment. Requirements include Matric with Maths and Science, tertiary education in a relevant field, and knowledge of SYSPRO ERP is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Matric with Maths and Science and computer literacy.
• Tertiary education in a relevant field is required.
• Knowledge of SYSPRO ERP would be advantageous.
• Hydraulic and Pneumatic experience or courses would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Sales calling on current customers (minimum visits per week as set).
• Call report management and time/attendance records.
• Provide accurate information to other departments and ensure timely quotes.
• Maintain high levels of customer service and build relationships.
• Attain a target number of new customers as per KPI's.
• Assist with tenders where applicable.
• Prepare and present accurate sales reports for meetings.

Junior Technical Sales Representative

Branch & Department: Nelspruit Branch (Mpumalanga)

Minimum Skills and Knowledge Required

• Matric with Maths and Science, computer literate, must have a valid driver license and own vehicle
• Tertiary education in relevant field, minimum 3 years' experience in sales, and knowledge of SYSPRO- ERP system would be advantageous
• Hydraulic and pneumatic experience would be advantageous
• Minimum 2-3 years sales experience in Fluid Power Industry
• Hydraulic and/or Pneumatics course through accredited training provider
• Internal training will be provided

Brief Description of Key Performance Areas

• Must meet budgets that are set out annually (Gross Profit)

Management of the following:

• Sales calling on current customers (minimum visits per week set by department head)
• Call Report Management
• Time and attendance
• Reporting informationCustomer platforming
• Customer feedback
• Providing of accurate information to other departments i.e., engineering and workshop
• Ensure customer feedback is provided accurately and timeously
• Manage customer inquiries to ensure that customer receives and accurate quotes timeously
• Maintain high levels of customer service
• Build and maintain customer relationships with customer base
• Manage and assist with Tenders (If applicable)
• Attain a target number of new customers as set by KPI's
• Learn and familiarise the Ernest Lowe Product range
• Prepare and present accurate sales reports for Sales meetings to management
