Placements24 seeks an experienced Warehouse Operations Supervisor to oversee daily activities at a Port Elizabeth facility. The role combines hands-on supervision with strategy to optimize processes and ensure safe, accurate, and productive warehouse operations.

You will lead a team, manage receive-to-dispatch workflows, monitor KPIs, and collaborate with logistics and procurement to drive continuous improvement in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifikationen

• 3–5 years in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Proven experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures.
• Strong leadership and communication skills in a fast-paced distribution setting.

Aufgaben

• Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing and shipping.
• Lead and motivate warehouse staff; provide direction, coaching and performance feedback.
• Enforce health and safety regulations and promote a safe work environment.
• Design and maintain efficient layouts and workflows to maximise space and productivity.
• Oversee inventory control with regular cycle counts and stock reconciliation.
• Safely operate and manage forklift and related equipment.
• Collaborate with logistics and procurement to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
• Monitor KPIs and implement improvements to reduce costs and boost efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of activities, inventory levels and staff performance.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices in warehouse management.
