Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily operations at our Port Elizabeth distribution center. You will manage receiving, storing, picking, packing and shipping while leading a team to achieve accuracy, safety and throughput.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of supervisory experience, strong WMS knowledge and excellent leadership and communication skills to drive performance in a busy logistics environment.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of direct supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of WMS and inventory control.
• Proven leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to foster a positive work environment.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in warehousing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse activities and maintain efficient workflow.
• Manage inventory, cycle counts and stock takes.
• Oversee receiving, warehousing, and distribution per policy.
• Train and motivate staff to high productivity and quality.
• Enforce health and safety regulations.
• Operate and manage warehouse equipment safely.
• Ensure accurate order picking, packing and dispatch.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
