Placements24 is seeking a Warehouse Efficiency Analyst in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga to optimize warehousing performance. You will collect and analyze data on throughput, productivity, and inventory accuracy, identifying bottlenecks and implementing lean-driven improvements.

The role combines on-site data collection with remote reporting, collaborating with warehouse teams to drive cost reductions and efficiency across healthcare supply chains in the Mpumalanga region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to warehouse operations, including throughput, labor productivity, inventory accuracy, and equipment utilization.
• Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement within the warehouse processes.
• Develop and implement process improvement initiatives using lean methodologies and best practices.
• Create dashboards and reports to track KPIs and present findings to management.
• Conduct time and motion studies to optimize workflows and task execution.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of new technologies and automation solutions in the warehouse.
• Collaborate with warehouse management and staff to implement recommended changes.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Stay current with industry trends and innovations in warehouse efficiency and automation.
• Provide data-driven recommendations for space utilization and layout optimization.
