Placements24 is seeking a diligent and experienced Warehouse Operations Supervisor to manage daily warehouse operations in Centurion, Gauteng. You will lead a team, oversee receiving, stocking, order picking, packing and shipping, and ensure safety and efficiency.

The ideal candidate has hands-on leadership, solid WMS and inventory control knowledge, and a proven ability to drive process improvements while maintaining accuracy. A hybrid work arrangement is offered along with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in warehouse operations with 2–3 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of WMS and inventory control procedures.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment is an advantage.
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities (receiving, stocking, picking, packing, shipping).
• Lead, train, and motivate a team to meet productivity targets.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and policies.
• Manage inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, ensure accuracy.
• Operate and oversee warehouse equipment and systems, including WMS.
• Refine processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and implement solutions.
• Collaborate with other departments for inbound/outbound logistics.
• Monitor team performance and provide feedback and reviews.
