Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Warehouse Inventory Control Analyst to join our client’s team in Pretoria, Gauteng. The role focuses on maintaining inventory data integrity across distribution centers, implementing control procedures, conducting audits, and investigating discrepancies.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in a related field, 3–5 years of experience, strong Excel skills, and experience with WMS/ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in SCM, Logistics, Business Admin or related field.
• 3–5 years in inventory control or related logistics role.
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles and best practices.
• Proficiency with WMS and ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Clear communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain inventory control procedures.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and physical audits for accuracy.
• Investigate and reconcile discrepancies between stock and records.
• Analyze data to identify trends, loss points, and improvements.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff on handling, storage, tracking.
• Generate reports on stock levels, aging, and valuation.
• Monitor inventory movement and control receipts, transfers, shipments.
• Manage inventory management systems and technologies.
• Identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Provide training on inventory control best practices.
