• Proven expertise in hydrological and hydraulic modeling software.
• Strong knowledge of South African stormwater policies, guidelines, and design manuals.

Aufgaben

• Design and implement stormwater management plans and systems including open channels, culverts, detention/retention basins, and SuDS features.
• Perform hydrological and hydraulic analyses using software such as HEC-RAS, SWMM, and MIKE FLOOD.
• Conduct flood risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for urban catchments.
• Prepare detailed designs, calculations, drawings, and specifications for stormwater infrastructure.
• Collaborate with urban planners and other disciplines to integrate stormwater into development projects.
• Ensure designs comply with standards, local authority requirements, and environmental best practices.
• Liaise with clients, regulators, and construction teams throughout project lifecycles.
• Provide technical guidance during construction phases.
• Stay updated on advancements in stormwater management technologies.
