The ideal candidate has an MSc/PhD in Chemical Engineering, 7+ years in process engineering, and strong knowledge of reaction engineering, thermodynamics, and separation processes. Aspen Plus and HYSYS experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in Chemical Engineering required.
• Minimum 7 years of process engineering experience in chemical or specialty chemicals.
• Strong background in process optimization, troubleshooting, and scale-up.

Responsibilities

• Lead process optimization projects to improve efficiency, yield, and quality.
• Develop and implement new process technologies and procedures.
• Analyze plant data to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and propose improvements.
• Design and run pilot plant trials and scale-up activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health and environmental regulations.
• Prepare process documentation (PFDs, P&IDs, operating manuals).
• Collaborate with R&D, engineering and production for tech transfer.
• Evaluate equipment upgrades and modifications.
• Provide technical support and mentor junior engineers.
