Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee Mahikeng production operations in the North West. You will lead a team, manage daily schedules, and ensure cGMP compliance and safety.

The role requires 5+ years in pharmaceutical manufacturing with at least 2 years in supervision, strong process knowledge, and proven leadership capabilities. Hybrid work setup supported with on-site supervision and remote planning as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Solid understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes (blending, granulation, tablet compression, packaging).
• In-depth knowledge of cGMP regulations and their application in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the pharmaceutical production team to meet production targets.
• Ensure all manufacturing operations follow cGMP, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Train, mentor, and motivate production operators, fostering a high-performance team culture.
• Monitor production processes, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Manage production schedules, ensuring timely completion of batch manufacturing.
• Maintain accurate production records, batch documentation, and logbooks.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Ensure a safe working environment and promote adherence to safety procedures.
• Collaborate with QA, QC, and Engineering to resolve production issues.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
