Placements24 is seeking a Senior Pharmaceutical Production Supervisor to lead the Mahikeng production team in North West. You will oversee daily operations, mentor operators, ensure cGMP compliance, and drive continuous improvement to meet production targets.

The role requires a strong leader with 5+ years in pharmaceutical manufacturing, including 2+ years supervising staff. You will coordinate with QA, Maintenance, and Supply Chain, manage batch records, and promote a safe, cost-conscious

Formación

• 5+ years in pharmaceutical manufacturing
• 2+ years in a supervisory or team lead role
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical production processes (solid dosage, liquid, sterile) and cGMP principles
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and manage safety and quality in a team
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles is advantageous

Responsabilidades

• Supervise daily production operators and technicians on the shop floor
• Ensure production activities meet cGMP, safety and environmental regulations
• Monitor processes, equipment performance and product quality; intervene as needed
• Train and mentor staff; foster continuous improvement and adherence to procedures
• Manage shift operations, scheduling, resource allocation and workload to meet targets
• Ensure accurate completion of batch records and production logs
• Collaborate with QA, Maintenance and Supply Chain for smooth operations
• Investigate deviations, non-conformances and customer complaints; support CAPA
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction
• Promote a safe working environment and health & safety compliance
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback
• Contribute to new manufacturing processes and technologies
