Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in industrial engineering focusing on efficiency improvement, process optimization, or operations analysis.
• Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies with certification preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret complex data.
• Experience with process mapping and value stream analysis tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to influence stakeholders.
• Proficiency in software tools for data analysis and project management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage improvement projects from conception to completion.
• Experience in food processing or agricultural sector is advantageous.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid model with required on-site presence in Nelspruit.

Responsabilités

• Analyze current industrial processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement in productivity and resource utilization.
• Develop and implement strategies based on Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Design and conduct experiments to test and validate new processes or modifications.
• Quantify the impact of implemented changes through data analysis and reporting.
• Collaborate with operational teams, engineers, and management to champion and implement efficiency initiatives.
• Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent application of optimized processes.
• Track KPIs related to efficiency, cost, and quality, and report on progress.
• Identify and evaluate opportunities for technology adoption and automation to further enhance efficiency.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on efficiency best practices.
