Placements24 is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineering Manager for a hybrid role at our Klerksdorp facility. You will lead a team of industrial engineers, drive production efficiency, and oversee lean initiatives to reduce costs and improve quality.

The role demands a strong background in industrial processes, plant layouts, and data-driven optimization, with proven leadership and problem-solving abilities to deliver operational excellence in the North West region.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field; Master's preferred.
• 7+ years in industrial engineering with at least 2 years in supervision/management.
• Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other CI methodologies.

Aufgaben

• Lead and manage the industrial engineering team and set goals.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve production efficiency, throughput, and quality.
• Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and optimization opportunities.
• Design and implement optimized plant layouts, workflows, and material handling.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to initiatives.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources for IE projects.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance to achieve excellence.
• Develop and present KPI reports to senior management.
• Mentor and develop the IE team; stay updated on best practices.
